Over 50 Best Animated Film Awards including the Golden Globes, the European Film Awards, and shortlisted for 97th Academy Awards

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEFlow, the award-winning animated feature film opens in Cineplex theatres in Ontario and Nova Scotia starting on Friday, January 17, 2025. The film is completely without dialogue, featuring only the naturalistic yet evocative forms of communication between animals. Since its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in 2024, it has won numerous Best Animated Film awards such as the European Film Awards, New York Film Critics Circle, Los Angeles Film Critics Circle, Toronto Film Critics Circle and the Golden Globes, the first Latvian film in history to do so.

A wondrous journey, through realms natural and mystical, Flow follows a courageous cat after his home is devastated by a great flood. Teaming up with a capybara, a lemur, a bird, and a dog to navigate a boat in search of dry land, they must rely on trust, courage, and wits to survive the perils of a newly aquatic planet. From the boundless imagination of the award-winning Gints Zilbalodis (Away) comes a thrilling animated spectacle as well as a profound meditation on the fragility of the environment and the spirit of friendship and community.
