For Immediate Release – Films We Like is pleased to announce the acquisition of Dance First, directed by celebrated British film director James Marsh who won the 2008 Academy Award for the feature documentary Man on a Wire and directed the 2014 multi-award winning biopic about physicist Stephen Hawking The Theory of Everything.
Irish writer and playwright Samuel Beckett lived a life of many parts but despite all the adulation that came his way, he was a man acutely aware of his own failings. Titled after Beckett’s famous ethos “dance first, think later”, the film is a lush account of the life of this 20th-century icon.
Experience it on a big screen this August.
