After its stunning premiere at Toronto International Film Festival (Contemporary World Cinema TIFF ’19), Films We Like is proud to announce it has acquired Canadian distribution rights to the Rubaiyat Hossain latest film Made in Bangladesh.


About the Film

Made in Bangladesh
is the story of a young clothing factory worker (Rikita Nandini Shimu) who after a death of her co-worker starts a union to improve working conditions. The Hollywood Reporter called the film a modern day Norma Rae. TIFF Artistic Director Cameron Bailey wrote, she is the Norma Rae we need now.
