SYNOPSIS: A heartbreaking story of two estranged sisters reunited at an isolated farmhouse in the dead of winter. When the events take an unexpected turn, the sisters revisit their dark and dangerous past.
Two estranged sisters reunite five years after the death of their parents. Now in their early twenties, Rosie and Sonia each struggle to make it on their own. When the anticipated party is not what Rosie expects, Sonia's true agenda is revealed. The sisters begin to revisit their treacherous history. As Sonia slugs vodka and Rosie eats pills, their journey becomes dark and dangerous.

Director Bio: Ry Russo-Young
Ry Russo-Young’s first feature film ORPHANS won a special jury prize at the 2007 SXSW film festival. The film continues to screen at numerous festivals in the US and abroad.
In 2004, Russo-Young was featured on the cover of The New York Times Magazine in an article about growing up with lesbian mothers. She and her family also appeared in OUR HOUSE, an award-winning PBS documentary about gay families.
Russo-Young grew up in downtown Manhattan. She graduated from Saint Ann’s School and Oberlin College where she studied visual arts. She also studied drama at Yale and HB Studios as well as film production at New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
She is currently working on her next feature film YOU WON’T MISS ME |
